Sandy Waters, the newly elected president of the Raetihi Promotions Group, is tasked with meeting the exciting challenge of revitalising Raetihi and leading our historic town toward opportunity.

Visit the Raetihi Country Market on the 3rd Saturday of each month for a vibrant slice of life & wide variety of local products including honey, bbq pork, bacon, coffee, wood work, art, baking, produce and much more.

Raetihi BMX track has been revamped for the 09/10 summer with bigger jumps for more action packed action, the kids will love it!

The Ruapehu Fish & Game Club has reformed for advice and help to make the most of our nourishing natural environment.

Douglas Fur trees felled at the southern SH4 entrance to Raetihi in November '09 have mostly been cleared. A Raetihi Promotions sub-committee is meeting shortly with RDC to develop a beautification plan here.
